SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

Last Sunday, Pastor Danny announced he will retire in August following more than 24 years of service as our pastor. Many months of fervent prayer and thoughtful planning went into his decision. God has guided us in the past and will be faithful to us in the coming days, as the search for a new pastor begins. This Sunday, Danny will share more details about the transition process. YOUR GENEROSITY

As Danny shared in the State of the Church last Sunday, God did some amazing things in 2020. One of those was to pour out His favor on us financially. Our church family modeled 2 Corinthians 8:2 and, “overflowed in a wealth of generosity.” We gave $10.4 million to our budget – the highest in our history – and gave $1.41 million to Make Jesus Known, exceeding our goal by $160,000. Our total giving was an amazing $13.6 million with over 19% ($2.6M) going outside the walls of our church to missions. Praise the Lord for His goodness and thank you for your faithfulness in giving!

DEACON ORDINATION

This Sunday night we will ordain Greg Eudy, Jonathan Osborne, and Ryan Wilson as deacons set apart for Christian service. They’ll share their personal testimonies, and we’ll have a time of prayer for them and a charge from Danny. The service begins at 6 p.m. in the Worship Center, but you can also tune in online.

ADULT DISCIPLESHIP

A new 11-week Foundations class on spiritual disciplines via Zoom on Wednesday nights starting Feb. 3. New adult DGroups also launch in February. DGroups encourage reading the Bible in community, building transparent friendships, and pursuing Gospel conversations. Click below to email Bradley Patton if you’re interested in either opportunity!
